Its a beautiful day for a wedding!

I was very thrilled to be asked to do Lindy and Rays wedding. I have known Lindy since she was 14 so to see her so grown up and happy at 21 was a huge thing for me.

We started our day at The Edge where the bridal party was getting ready… I dont think I have met such a funny and gorgeous bunch of girls. They had so much fun getting ready and found joy and laughter in everything… the special code word “tickle tickle”…

Lindy and Ray were married at the Rockhampton Rowing Club on the lawn and the reception followed upstairs. They both wanted a few different looks for their photos so we went to three locations… Railway Bridge, Botanical Gardens and the Yeppen Yards.

Sarah “O’Hara”.. the girl in the purple dress!

Sarah’s mum phoned me to come and do a “photo shoot” of her daughters formal day. She just wanted photos that Sarah could have that captured her very special day with her special people.

First first glimpse of Sarah was her getting out of the car in the most beautiful purple dress… it was devine. This is my first photo shoot with a big dress and I loved every minute of it… it added a whole other dimension to the photos. I felt as if we had stepped back in time and Sarah was a character of of Gone with the Wind… so I tried to capture the beauty in that.

Thank You to the whole Adamson Family and the very attentive boyfriend Billy for making it such a wonderful afternoon… it was a great way to spend my birthday!
